KUALA LUMPUR: Although he admits that Bruno Mars is a great singer and that he likes to listen to his songs, Aizat Amdan has no intention of going to the singer-songwriters concert this coming September.
According to a Berita Harian report, the 35-year-old Akademi Fantasia alumnus said that this is due to Mars's pro-Israel views.
As much as Mars is openly supportive of Israel and its Zionist regime, Aizat said he also has his own beliefs and stand on the Palestine-Israel conflict.
"Because of that, I wouldn't turn a blind eye and go to his concert.
"There's always a limit for us. And in this case, why support someone who is pro-Israel?", said Aizat.
"If there's anyone who contributes to funding the regime that is committing genocide, there's no need for anyone (in their right mind) to continue their support," added Aizat.
