The YouTuber involved in Tzuyang's blackmail case faced mockery for making an outrageous demand

 

Famous mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang has recently been the center of attention. According to reports in Korean media, a group known as the "tow truck union," which includes YouTubers like Hwang Chul Soo, Gujeyeok, Crocodile, Gango, Carancula, Uhm Tae Woong, and others, allegedly intimidated her. In Korean slang, "reg-ka," or "tow truck," refers to YouTube channels that spread unsubstantiated negative content about celebrities, similar to the infamous Sojang.

It was reported that this group extorted money from Tzuyang by leveraging her past experiences. Gujeyeok was allegedly recorded threatening Tzuyang's staff, implying that if certain information about her were made public, she would be pressured into retiring. They also purportedly suggested that financial compensation was the only solution.

The threat involved exposing her past work at a pub, which was later revealed to have involved abuse by her ex-boyfriend and ex-CEO, where she was forced to work.

Carancula, one of the implicated YouTubers, previously denied receiving money from Tzuyang or her representatives. Following Tzuyang's public announcement on the issue, Carancula posted a video to clarify his stance. He stated that he was being unfairly targeted by netizens after allegations of blackmail surfaced from another YouTuber, Garosero Yeonguseo. Carancula emphasized that he did not receive any funds from Tzuyang and expressed frustration over the situation, requesting assistance from Tzuyang and her legal team to resolve what he perceives as an unjust situation.

However, netizens quickly criticized Carancula for causing further harm to Tzuyang. They firmly believe that Tzuyang, as the victim in this entire ordeal, deserves support and viewed Carancula's request as completely unreasonable.
