Hyeri wins the Rising Star Asia Award at the New York Asian Film Festival with 'Victory'

 

Hyeri received the Rising Star Award at the 'New York Asian Film Festival' for her role in 'Victory.'

On July 12th, Hyeri was honored with the Rising Star Asia Award at the 'New York Asian Film Festival' for her performance in the movie 'Victory.'

The Rising Star Asia Award acknowledges emerging talents in Asian cinema, with past recipients including Kim Go Eun and others. Alongside the award ceremony, 'Victory' was premiered at the festival ahead of its Korean release.

After the ceremony, Hyeri shared behind-the-scenes photos from the awards show on her Instagram.

In 'Victory,' Hyeri portrays Pil Sun, a high school student who brings peace to the turbulent waters of Geoje Island through her dance skills. Pil Sun is passionately determined to achieve her goals without hesitation, exuding confidence and bold charm.

'Victory' is set to be released in Korean theaters on August 14th KST.
