(G)I-DLE nearly debuted using stage names that combined colors and animals, like "Green Crocodile."

 

During their interview on comedian Kim Dae Hee's YouTube channel, (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Minnie shared that they were close to debuting under the group name "Any Color." What was even more surprising was that their stage names would have combined their favorite colors and animals, inspired by the four-character name format of veteran boy group TVXQ.

Their names were as follows:

Miyeon = Green Crocodile
Minnie = Pink Mouse
Soyeon = Yellow Fish
Shuhua = White Butterfly
Yuqi = Blue Sky
