Former 'Peak Time' contestant & BLACK6IX member Kim Hyun Jae cleared of school bullying accusations in court

Former BLACK6IX member Kim Hyun Jae, known by his stage name The King, withdrew from the JTBC competition show 'Peak Time' in March of last year due to school bullying accusations. Over a year later, he has been officially exonerated by the court.

On July 10 KST, Kim Hyun Jae announced on Instagram that the Seoul Central District Court found his accuser, a former elementary/middle school classmate, guilty of making false accusations. The court ordered the accuser to pay damages to Kim Hyun Jae. All bullying allegations against Kim Hyun Jae have been declared false by the court.

Kim Hyun Jae had gained attention as a member of Team 24:00 on 'Peak Time,' which aired in early 2023. After the bullying accusations emerged online, he withdrew from the show to avoid causing harm to other contestants. He then sued his accuser for making false claims, leading to a year-long legal battle.
